Anthony Emerson lives and writes at the edge of the North Maine Woods. Born and raised in Maine, he moved back to his mother’s hometown in the Katahdin region where the rivers and mountains of the north country have become a focus of his writing.

Outside of writing, he enjoys hiking, camping, the Grateful Dead, bourbon, and kayaking with his grandmother. 

His essays, short fiction, and poetry have been published in Appalachia Journal, Flora Fiction, Northern New England Review, Tiny Seed Journal, and Visitant. Anthony is a regular contributor to The Dillydoun Review.
